Pakistani newspapers can cover a wide variety of fields such as politics, business, sports and art, and often include materials such as opinion columns, editorial cartoons, comic strips, weather forecasts, crosswords,  reviews of local services, obituaries, and advice columns.

Pakistani newspapers have traditionally been published in print usually on cheap, low-grade paper called newsprint. However, today most Pakistani newspapers are also published on websites as online newspapers, and some have even abandoned their print versions entirely. Most print media are privately owned, but the government controls the Associated Press of Pakistan, one of the major news agencies. Some of the famous Pakistani newspaper links are available here.
