Win-lose orientation

An approach to negotiation that assumes that any gain by one party is only possible at the expense of the other party.

Win-win orientation

A collaborative approach to negotiation which assumes that solutions can be reached that meet the needs of all parties.

Work group

A small, interdependent collection of people with a common identity who interact with one another, usually face-to-face over time, to reach a goal.

"You" language
Language that often begins with the word you and accuses or evaluates the other person.
